Milo SNYder

I met Milo at the Bellevue Arts Museum Show. His work immediately captured my attention with it’s extreme craftsmanship and beauty. I have never seen cast glass art that was so delicate and complex. One of glass’s strongest aesthetic is it’s relationship to light and Milo showcases that with his sculptural lighting.

Some of his pieces reminded me of something I had learned about at the Chrysler Museum of Art which is a special type of sea sponge that builds intricate structure made from liquid silica.
